Job Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide essential direct care to residents in a retirement community, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support to families. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, preparing meals, and engaging residents in activities. The position requires a high school diploma, CNA certification from the State of Georgia, and the ability to follow instructions in English. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to fifty pounds and spend the majority of working hours standing and walking.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification by the State of Georgia as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current CPR and/or First Aid certification
Additional Requirements
- Completing and passing a background check
- Drug test requirement
- Participation in vaccine programs
