Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents, communicate their needs effectively, and assist with programming activities. Adhere to safety and infection control policies while promoting positive public relations for the facility. Participate in scheduled in-service training programs and perform other tasks as required by the Director of Nursing. Work the 1st shift from 6am to 2pm, 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, or 3rd shift from 10pm to 6am. Full-time hours are required, including weekends, with doubles allowed. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 hourly based on experience, with shift differentials applied.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C.N.A. certificate from an accredited program
- Valid DL
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be okay with working weekends
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year experience in long term care preferred
- CPR & First Aid Certification a plus
- TB completed test a plus
- Physical within a year a plus
- Comfortable providing above average patient service
- Physically able to stand and walk for periods of time
- Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
