Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents, communicate their needs effectively, and assist with programming activities. Adhere to safety and infection control policies while promoting positive public relations for the facility. Attend scheduled in-service training programs and perform other tasks as required by the Director of Nursing. This role requires a valid C.N.A. certificate, at least one year of long-term care experience preferred, and CPR/First Aid certification. Candidates must be physically able to stand and walk for extended periods, multitask, and pass a criminal background check. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd options with weekend work; full-time status is needed. Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $22.00 hourly based on experience, with shift differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Valid C.N.A. certificate from an accredited program
- Valid DL
- Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Must be okay with working weekends
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year experience in long term care
- CPR & First Aid Certification
- TB completed test
- Physical within a year
- Comfortable providing above average patient service
- Physically able to stand and walk for periods of time
- Organized with ability to multitask and prioritize workflow
