Job Summary
Care for patients' personal care and hygiene needs in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centers, and hospitals. Assist with daily tasks including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake. Support ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises while checking vitals, measuring intake/output, and monitoring blood glucose. Document changes and observe patients to notify supervisors of issues requiring care or medication adjustments. Collaborate with physicians, RNs, LPNs, and aides to deliver excellent patient care. This Full-Time Weekend Warrior role requires working Saturdays and Sundays every week.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- Active Nursing Assistant Certification in Kansas
- CPR certification
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Compassionate nature
- Good communicator
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Working both Saturday and Sunday every week
