Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Weekend Shift

Job Summary
Provide direct resident care under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel. Perform personal care (grooming, bathing, dressing, oral care, etc.), assist with transfers and ambulation, monitor vital signs and intake/output, support nutrition and hydration, prepare residents for meals and transport to dining, and assist in data collection for the plan of care. Maintain accurate records, adhere to Standard Precautions and infection control, and contribute to a teamwork-focused, compassionate environment for residents in a long-term care facility.
Required Qualifications
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state
- Maintain CPR Certification
- High School Graduate or GED
- OR
- Currently attending a CNA class working toward certification (may not work non-certified for more than four months)
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility
- Good communication skills with excellent self-discipline and patience
- Comply with the Resident’ Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures
