Job Summary
Provide support to staff and patients on the Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum unit by independently delivering resource information and general nursing care. Complete clerical tasks related to regulatory annual requirements, audits, and patient processes. Share in helping staff as a Unit Secretary (HUC) for the LDRP Unit, with appropriate orientation to both CNA and HUC roles. Work three 12-hour shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm, three days per week, with a rotating third weekend schedule, holidays, and no-call status. This permanent position within a 33-bed tertiary obstetrics center offers a family-centered philosophy of care to women and families.
Required Qualifications
- WI Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) - active or expired on registry
- Must have a strong interest in customer service
- Must be able to multi task
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision
- Must be passionate about providing excellent patient care
- Must be able to demonstrate compassion at the end of life
- Must be available for weekend rotation
- Must be available for rotating holidays
- Must be able to work no call shifts
- Must be able to work 36 hours per week
- Must be able to work three 12-hour shifts
- Must be able to work shifts from 7:00am to 7:30pm
- Must be able to share in helping staff as HUC (LDRP Unit Secretary) duties
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment substance abuse testing
