Job Summary
Provide direct nursing aide care in a clinically intensive trauma-informed program, assisting individuals with complex health needs with activities of daily living including toileting, showering, dressing, wound care, and passive range of motion exercises. Monitor physical, mental, and emotional status changes, administer medications per policy, and transport clients to medical and dental appointments. Maintain a safe, clean environment, document nursing care and shift notes, and report incidents or medication errors. Communicate status changes to managers and families, collaborate with external agencies, and advocate for individuals served. Requires CNA certification, valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid within two weeks of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a C.N.A.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Driving is a requirement
- A valid driver's license
- Must possess and maintain adequate insurance
- Maintain a safe driving record
- Valid US driver's license for at least one year
- Ability to pass a driver's screening background check
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds using proper lifting techniques or the use of a two-person lift
- Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, copier, and printer
- Ability to sit, reach, climb stairs, and maneuver through narrow spaces or hallways
- Ability to assist clients with tasks of daily living
- Ability to speak, hear, and communicate with clients, staff, and external representatives

- CPR within 2 weeks of hire

- CPI required within 60 days of hire
- CNA certification in state of service
