Job Summary
Conduct activities of daily living for residents including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and dining while promoting independence. Serve meals, assist in meal preparation, and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. Participate in leisure activities to foster socialization and maintain accurate records of observations, incidents, and resident conditions. Perform general housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, safe environment and respond promptly to emergency procedures and resident requests. Track resident locations and report unlocated individuals immediately. Promote teamwork, maintain personal hygiene standards, and attend all in-service training. Be an active member of the emergency response team. Full-time rotating shifts available evenings and overnight with weekend and holiday coverage required.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Current CPR certification
- 6 months to 1 year of prior resident care experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good judgment
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of HIPAA requirements
- Must pass a background check and drug screen
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Prior resident care experience, preferably with seniors
