Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents as a Certified Nursing Assistant under supervision of licensed nursing staff, including activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, feeding), assist with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics, monitor vital signs and report changes, respond promptly to call lights, support therapeutic and recreational activities to enhance residents’ physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being, maintain a clean, safe environment with infection control, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to meet individual resident needs. Requires an active CNA license, state-approved training, 18+ age, strong communication and interpersonal skills, compassion, reliability, and ability to perform physical tasks. Job site at a Tigard, Oregon facility.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) License in the State of practice
- Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting residents with mobility
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to pass a background check
