Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) duties include assisting residents with daily living activities (delivering meals, turning and ambulating residents, providing fluids and nourishment), aiding with personal hygiene, observing and reporting health issues to supervising nurse, documenting food and fluid intake, assisting with feeding and nutritional supplements, making beds and maintaining tidy living areas, transporting residents within the facility, supporting nurses and staff, and adhering to facility policies and federal/state/local requirements. Requires current CNA certification and CPR/First Aid certifications; emphasizes excellent interpersonal, communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and knowledge of patient care regulations to ensure confidentiality and quality care.
