Job Summary
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs various duties assisting in the care of residents. Responsibilities include direct patient care such as dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance, measuring vital signs, and ensuring proper documentation of care activities. The role requires knowledge of emergency preparedness protocols and infection control procedures. Candidates should be high school graduates and CNAs in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry.
Required Qualifications
- Must be listed in good standing on the New York State Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nursing Assistant with no findings of abuse, mistreatment, neglect or misappropriation of property/funds.
