Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN/LPN, applying understanding of basic anatomical, biological, psychological, cultural, and social sciences. Work full-time 36-hour weekly shifts in day rotations at Providence St Elias Specialty Hospital in Anchorage. Maintain Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification and obtain National Provider BLS within 30 days of hire. Eligible full-time external hires may receive a $2,500 hiring bonus. Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Alaska state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course or other education which meets state certification requirements
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Some college courses in nursing or therapy field
- 3 months Nursing assistant experience in acute or extended care
