Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Deliver care within the limits of the position without administering medications or therapy. Complete job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Provide support in acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit settings. Requires current BLS certification and two to three years of experience in an acute, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing unit. Flexible scheduling available with opportunities for growth through the Education Advancement Program.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
