Job Summary
Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Do not administer medications or therapy and do not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Accomplish job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while performing other related duties as assigned. Requires current BLS certification and a minimum of two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit. Join the brand-new rehabilitation hospital opening this fall to help shape the future of patient care in a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
