Job Summary
Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a Registered or Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse. Do not administer medications or therapy, and do not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Accomplish job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines. Complete other related duties as assigned or requested. Requires current BLS certification; two to three years of acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit experience is preferred. Flexible scheduling available with opportunities for growth and advancement through the Education Advancement Program.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
