Job Summary
Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a registered or licensed vocational/practical nurse. Accomplish job duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines, while performing other related duties as assigned. Do not administer medications or therapy and do not assume independent responsibility for patient care. Requires current BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; two to three years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred. Flexible scheduling available with opportunities for professional growth through the Education Advancement Program.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
