Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under general supervision of a registered or licensed vocational/practical nurse. Execute duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while adhering to position limits. Do not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. Complete other related duties as assigned or requested. Requires current BLS certification and preferred experience in acute, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings. Flexible scheduling available with opportunities for growth through the Education Advancement Program.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
