Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) PRN at Hazelhurst Court Care and Rehab. Under supervision of the Director of Nursing, performs CNA duties including assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers; provides personal care, bathes, positions and transfers patients, records vital signs in EMR, assists with therapies by coordinating OT/PT/ST, administers basic nursing care, assists with meals, and maintains patient comfort and safety; must complete state-approved CNA program and ongoing continuing education; strong English comprehension and high school education preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred for this position.
- It is mandatory that the candidate can read, write and understand the English language.
- In addition, a Certified Nurse Assistant is required to attend a minimum of 18 hours Continuing Education programs provided by the Center in order to maintain Certification.
- Finally, a Certified Nurse Assistant must have successfully completed a State approved Certified Nursing Assistant program.
