Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role in a long-term care setting. Under supervision of a Registered and/or Practical Nurse, the CNA performs care activities for seniors including assisting residents with dressing, bathing, and eating; takes vitals and collects non-invasive specimens; supports nursing staff with procedures; documents care services; and ensures resident comfort and safety. Essential duties include responding to signals, assisting with activities of daily living, serving meals, transporting residents, turning and repositioning to prevent bedsores, maintaining linens, and reporting changes. Requires completion of a one-year certificate or equivalent experience and CNA certification in Michigan. Schedule includes 2nd shift PRN availability.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Certified Nurse’s Aide certification in Michigan required.
