Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on Telemetry PRN Night Shift in a 10-bed and a 22-bed telemetry unit; provides direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of an RN or licensed care team member. Responsibilities include assisting with personal hygiene, bowel/bladder care, I&O, specimen transport, linen changes, maintaining a clean patient environment, assisting with mobility and activity, and communicating pertinent patient information to the nurse. Requires Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification or progress in nursing program with validated clinical rotation; BLS within 30 days of hire. Baptist Health is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Current Kentucky Nurse Aide Certification required or successful completion of first year of a Nursing program and validation of a clinical rotation consistent with level of education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
