Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/PCT) role in the 3 North Surgical unit at Baptist Health Corbin, KY. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating care, education, and discharge planning with patients, families, providers, and the interdisciplinary team; performing clinical procedures, implementing provider orders, responding to emergencies; delegating tasks, providing leadership and staff support, and mentoring team members; maintaining licensure and completing required training while complying with organizational and regulatory requirements. Requires an Associate Degree in Nursing and current Kentucky RN license or work permit; BLS, ACLS, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, NIH Stroke Certification, Glucometer Training, and Nurse Wound Care certifications (may be obtained within post-hire timeframes). Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- current Kentucky RN license or work permit
- BLS, ACLS, Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia, NIH Stroke Certification, Glucometer Training, Aegis/DY, Nurse Wound Care certifications
