Job Summary
Provides patient care support including hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by Charge Nurse per established departmental guidelines. Documents into patient records, records height/weight/vital signs, orients new residents to the facility, ensures admission kit and armband are provided, and responds promptly to call lights. Performs rounds, repositions residents regularly, takes vitals and intake/output, applies physician/therapy-ordered devices, and communicates with the Charge Nurse at shift changes. Maintains supplies, completes duties as CNA, pursues continuing education, accepts reassignment as needed, and collaborates with team members and managers. May be assigned other duties as appropriate. Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred), active CNA certification in the state of work, CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within six months), and long-term care experience preferred. Pay range: $16.08-$25.24 per hour.
