Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position providing resident/patient care and related services under supervision to support safety, comfort, and well-being of residents. Responsibilities include assisting with personal needs, daily activities, and creating a positive physical, social, and psychological environment in a long-term care setting. Requires successful completion of approved CNA training and competency evaluation, ability to relate positively with residents, families, volunteers, and staff, and a positive attitude toward elderly care. English proficiency (reading/writing/speaking) and health requirements are required. Part-time 3rd shift with up to $23.50/hour pay rate.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and other center staff
- Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderly
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Meets all health requirements, as required by law
