Job Summary
Provide essential personal and health care to residents in a long-term care environment under nursing supervision. Assist with dressing, bathing, and eating; take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration); collect non-invasive specimens as directed; aid residents with mobility and activities of daily living; support nursing staff with procedures; document resident care and interactions; respond to signals and calls; maintain cleanliness of rooms and linens; ensure safety through proper positioning and turning; manage light housekeeping and laundry tasks; demonstrate reliability in attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Certified Nurse’s Aide certification in Michigan required.
