Job Summary
Provide direct care to residents across Otterbein’s settings (independent living through hospice) under nurse supervision. Assist with day-to-day tasks such as bathing, eating, ambulating, and hair care; support residents to remain as independent and comfortable as possible; document care accurately and efficiently; contribute to a compassionate, person-centered care environment. Requires CNA/STNA certification for Ohio and listing on the Nurse Aide Registry; minimum 6 months direct care experience preferred. PRN shifts available, including 12-hour and 8-hour options; compensation includes weekday and weekend rates.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of approved certified nursing assistant program
- Certification: Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required from the State of Ohio. Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry.
- Experience: At least 6 months of direct care CNA/STNA experience
