Job Summary
Weekend Warrior Nurse Assistant in training to become CNA at Avera Majestic Bluffs/Avera Sister James Care Center. Provides direct, personal care and services to residents in a skilled nursing facility, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, transfers, feeding, mobility) and supporting residents’ physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs. Performs routine nursing tasks (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight) and assists with restorative exercises, documentation, infection control, and safety procedures. In training to become CNA and/or Medication Aide certified; eligible for a $1,000 sign-on bonus. Hours are 6am–6:30pm, Friday–Sunday (5 of 6 weekends) with a 25% incentive; location in Yankton, SD; includes benefits and CARE-focused workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days
- High School or GED Equivalent (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) license in the state of practice
- Willing to train to become CNA within 120 days
- High School diploma or GED preferred
