Job Summary
Assist residents with personal care needs including oral hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility. Measure and record vital signs, collect specimens, and perform nursing functions like enemas and catheter care. Prepare residents for meals, serve food trays, and maintain accurate intake and output records. Float to the OVCH Acute Care Facility four times annually and perform other duties as assigned. This role offers shift differentials ranging from $1.00 to $5.00 per hour in addition to a base pay of $24.50–$28.60. New grads are welcome to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Six (6) months of CNA experience performing Nursing/Patient Care duties in an acute care setting or skilled nursing facility
