Job Summary
Provide direct patient care under nurse supervision, including assistance with bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility. Transport patients and equipment while maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment and intervening during crises. Complete admission paperwork, file medical records, and monitor patients for assessments. Participate in recreational and therapeutic activities for patients. Requires CNA certification and willingness to work nights from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, including unscheduled overtime, weekends, and flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- CNA Certification
- CMS Restraint and Seclusion training
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours
- Job will require frequent lifting of objects up to 50 pounds
- Position may require unscheduled overtime, after-hours, and week-end work
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years' in a mental health, patient care, or geriatric setting
