Job Summary
Assist residents with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, oral care, and personal hygiene needs while providing bedtime, overnight, and morning care according to individualized care plans. Support mobility by helping with walking, transferring, turning, and range-of-motion activities, and safely use wheelchairs and mechanical lifts as directed. Respond promptly to call lights, complete scheduled rounds, and measure vital signs, intake, output, and weights as assigned. Document care provided and resident responses accurately, report changes in condition or behavior to the licensed nurse, and maintain clean resident rooms. Protect resident rights, privacy, and dignity while communicating respectfully with families and the interdisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the State of Missouri
- Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to remain attentive and responsive throughout the overnight shift
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of the nursing team
- Flexibility when resident needs or priorities change
- Professional and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to safely perform the physical responsibilities of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Commitment to treating every resident with compassion, dignity, and respect
- Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 12-hour shifts
- Rotating weekends
