Job Summary
Provide quality physical and emotional care to residents at Montgomery Place, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, hygiene, and dining. Maintain a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused attitude while communicating effectively with residents and staff. Perform duties accurately under tight deadlines with minimal supervision, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environments from resident rooms to common areas. Work the 1st shift (7:00am–3:00pm) or 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:00pm), including holidays, weekends, and on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Certificate (CNA); must be registered with the state in good standing
- Ability to communicate with residents and staff
- Basic proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn company systems
- Ability to work holiday and weekend hours as well as to be on call
- Approachable, customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Think and act calmly and logically to meet unusual occurrences of the job without being thrown off stride
- Detail orientation
- Must have ability to perform duties accurately and rapidly under tight deadlines with minimal supervision
- Must be able to take direction and fulfill task requirements
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Specific vision requirements include the ability to see at close range, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl and climb
- Use hands to feel, and reach with hand and arms
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (may lift larger amounts of weight occasionally due to helping with transferring residents to beds or wheelchairs)
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding)
- 1st Shift 7:00am - 3:00pm or 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:00pm
