Job Summary
Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living to residents at Mill Street Residence on straight night shift (11pm–7:30am). duties include bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair care, nail care, toileting, assisting with exercises/ambulation, reminding residents to take medications as directed by RN, taking and recording vital signs, assisting transfers, infection control, changing bed linens, changing simple dressings, promoting independence, and recognizing significant changes in resident condition and reporting to the RN. Maintain documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with residents, families, and care team; participate in care planning and ensure compassionate, quality care for seniors in an assisted-living setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minnesota Certified Nursing Assistant certification (CNA)
- 75-hour CNA training/competency evaluation
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in hospital, skilled nursing facility, or home care setting preferred
