Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medication Technician (MT)

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Medication Technician (MT) provide resident care in Assisted Living and Memory Care under the direction of nursing and medical staff. Responsibilities include answering signal lights, assisting with bathing, dressing, feeding, transferring/transports, repositioning bedfast residents to prevent bedsores, changing linens, errands, charting, recording vital signs (weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration), administering medications per physician orders (oral/topical/suppository and eye/ear drops), observing and reporting medication effects, and other duties as assigned. Requires completion of a state-approved CNA program or equivalent training and current CNA certification. Strong communication, basic math, and charting skills; ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; team-oriented and dedicated to resident safety and well-being.
