Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Maintain a safe environment while ensuring current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS (AHA), and Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificates are held upon hire and kept current. Possess knowledge of Medical Terminology and bring minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office. Join the dedicated team at Landmark Medical Center, a 214-bed acute care hospital in Woonsocket, RI, serving northern Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts since 1873.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain current per facility requirement
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physicians office
