Job Summary
Assist with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients in the Med/Surg Department under the direction of the Registered Nurse. Maintain a safe environment while supporting the team in delivering high-quality medical care to adults and children. Requires a current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate, BLS certification, and knowledge of medical terminology, with six months of acute care experience preferred. This role is available on nights for full-time employment at St. Francis Medical Center, a comprehensive stroke and trauma center serving the Los Angeles community.
Required Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire
- Current BLS upon hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
