Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)-Long Term Care- PT Evening Shift

Job Summary
Provide the highest quality care for long-term care residents by assisting with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and mobility. Communicate positively with residents, respond appropriately to their behaviors, and adhere to each individual care plan. Maintain strict confidentiality, practice infection control, and know safety and emergency procedures. Exercise independent judgment while maintaining emotional stability under stressful conditions. Perform moderate to heavy physical work including frequent standing, bending, and lifting weights exceeding 25 pounds. Evening shift runs from 2pm to 10:30pm with weekend and holiday rotations required. Starting hourly wage is $22.50 with weekend and shift differentials available.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program
- Genuine interest in geriatrics
- Able to provide quality resident care following each individual care plan
- Knows safety and emergency procedures pertaining to long-term care facility
- Practice infection control procedures
- Able to exercise independent judgment and maintain emotional stability under stressful conditions
- Flexibility to handle changing situations and emergency needs
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Job involves moderate to heavy physical work
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting weight in excess of 25 pounds
- Weekend and Holiday Rotations Required
