Job Summary
Provide routine daily care to assigned residents at our 60-bed facility, assisting with personal hygiene and participating in the daily care of residents. Maintain active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Virginia and demonstrate the ability to make independent decisions while effectively communicating with a variety of individuals. Read and understand written and oral instructions regarding nursing practices and procedures. Weekend-only shifts available for experienced candidates at Heritage Hall in Blacksburg, VA, where we specialize in long-term care using cutting-edge therapeutic technologies like vital stim and lymph edema therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Virginia
- At least 18-years-old
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long-term care
- Weekend availability
