Job Summary
Provide routine daily care to assigned residents at our 60 bed facility, assisting with personal hygiene and participating in the daily care of residents. Maintain an active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Virginia and make independent decisions while communicating effectively with a variety of individuals. Read and understand written and oral instructions regarding nursing practices and procedures. Work part-time 20-30 hours weekly during PT nights from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Heritage Hall Lexington specializes in long-term care, focusing on creating a comfortable and nurturing environment while using the human touch to help residents enjoy the surrounding Shenandoah Valley.
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in Virginia
- At least 18-years-old
- Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of individuals
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Ability to read and understand written and oral instructions
- Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures
- Part Time (20 - 30 hours weekly)
- Nights 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in long-term care
