Job Summary
Perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), ambulation, transfers, and grooming. Change bed linens, maintain housekeeping standards, and promptly answer call lights to assist with resident needs. Record vital signs, weights, intake and output, and food consumption as assigned, while routinely turning and positioning residents. Recognize and support resident rights and choices within the care environment. Assist in the orientation and training of other staff, as requested. Current, active Nursing Assistant certification is required. Competitive hourly pay up to $22.03, shift differentials, tuition reimbursement, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Nursing Assistant certification from state in which the facility operates
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a nursing team and under the direction of licensed nursing staff
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure
- Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change
- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and vendors
