Job Summary
Under the direction of the Registered Nurse, perform Activities of Daily Living to promote patient comfort and safety, assist with vital signs, weights, intake and output, and blood glucose monitoring. Respond promptly to call lights, conduct regular patient rounds, and recognize life-threatening emergencies to take appropriate actions. Document all care tasks and communicate changes in patient condition effectively. Maintain organized work areas and assist patients in orienting to the hospital routine. Requires current BLS and/or CPR certification. Night and Evening Shift differential available.
Required Qualifications
- High School or Equivalent (GED)
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant
- Current BLS and/or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
