Job Summary
Under supervision, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides basic nursing assistance and helps residents with daily living activities. Responsibilities include assisting with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care; obtaining and assisting with feeding; aiding with range of motion exercises and movement to wheelchair or activity areas; helping with turning/positioning in bed and ambulation for short distances; and taking/recording temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration, and intake/output as directed. Requires a valid CNA certification in the state of employment; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Six months of long-term care experience is preferred. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, teamwork, and safety, with benefits such as medical coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401K, HSA/FSA options, and a $3/hr weekend program included in compensation. Required Qualifications
