Job Summary
Provide end-of-life care and compassionate support to hospice patients; assist with daily activities, mobility, and personal care; monitor vital signs and record as part of the care plan; offer emotional support and companionship to patients and families; ensure a clean, safe environment in accordance with infection control protocols; assist with meal preparation and serving; communicate patient needs and changes to the healthcare team; work full-time on 12-hour day/night shifts with rotating weekends at Dozoretz Hospice House.
Required Qualifications
- Current CNA license in the State of Virginia (unencumbered)
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Willingness to complete a food sanitation course after hire
- Flu-Vaccinated
