Job Summary
Perform all personal care activities including assisting with hygiene, ambulation, eating, dressing, shaving, and physical transfers as directed by the Registered Nurse. Maintain a clean, safe environment through light cleaning, straightening living areas, and washing dishes or laundry. Measure intake and output, vital signs, and keep records of personal health care activities while observing behavioral changes and reporting them to the RN. Work part-time Wednesdays and Fridays from 8am to 5pm in Stuart, FL. Requires a current Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide Certificate, BLS CPR certification, and TB testing.
Required Qualifications
- Current, valid Florida CNA license OR 40-75 hour Home Health Aide Certificate
- Current BLS CPR Certification (obtained in-person, not online)
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
- Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication CEU (minimum of 2 hours)
- HIV/AIDs CEU

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in home care is preferred
