Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) responsible for providing residents with routine daily personal care per care plan. Perform ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting; keep rooms and care areas clean; assist with orientation of new residents; document care as required; report changes in condition to charge nurse; monitor vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration); assist with mobility and transportation to dining, therapy, and activities; encourage participation in activities; perform restorative/rehabilitative procedures; assist with lifting, turning, transferring, and positioning; serve meals and assist with feeding; respond to call lights promptly; perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Alabama or obtain certification within 120 days of hire
- Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
