Job Summary
Listen to shift reports to set resident care priorities and follow assignment sheets containing individual plans of care. Transport residents to activities and appointments, perform treatments under a licensed nurse's direction, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Report pertinent care information to nurses throughout the shift and complete ADL documentation by the end of the scheduled shift. Interact respectfully with residents, families, and co-workers while adhering to dress codes and chain of command. Work nights from 11pm to 7am, four shifts per week totaling 30 hours.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Certified Nursing Assistant credentials
- interest in working with older adults
- experience in working with older adults
- High school diploma or equivalent
- reading ability at 12th grade level or higher
- comprehension ability at 12th grade level or higher
- writing ability at 12th grade level or higher
- ability to occasionally lift loads of 50 pounds without assistance
- ability to sit

- distance vision

- ability to adjust focus
