Job Summary
Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and ambulation. Support admissions, discharges, transfers, and orientation for new residents. Prepare, plate, and serve meals while managing dining room cleanup and housekeeping duties. Prioritize assignments to meet changing needs for seniors, clients, and team members. Safeguard Protected Health Information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Follow department protocols for documentation and implement comprehensive care plans. Maintain CNA certification in good standing and meet vaccination requirements. Work 6a-6p shifts, including weekends and holidays, with a starting pay of $18-20.16 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification in good standing as demonstrated by inclusion on the Nebraska State Registry
- Must meet Eventide's vaccination requirements
- Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job
- Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction)
- Unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 - pounds
- At least age 18
- Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months experience as an aide or caregiver
- MA-40 certification
- CPR
