Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant responsibilities include performing resident/patient care activities and related services to meet personal needs, safety, and comfort under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor; contribute to a positive physical, social, and psychological environment while adhering to center policies; restorative and shower aide responsibilities also available; must be licensed CNA (course in progress accepted); strong communication with residents, families, volunteers, and staff; long-term care focus with elderly residents.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA license required
- CNA course in progress accepted
- Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
