Job Summary
Certified Nursing Assistant providing resident/patient care under the supervision of the assigned Nurse Supervisor. Performs personal-care activities to support safety and comfort, and helps create a positive physical, social, and psychological environment in a skilled nursing facility. Requires successful completion of approved CNA training and competency evaluation program, ability to relate well with residents, families, and staff, and ability to read/write English. Meets health requirements. Wages up to $30/hr with multiple shift options (1st, 2nd) and part-time opportunities; comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and other voluntary insurances.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of approved nursing assistant training and competency evaluation program
- Able to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents/patients, families, volunteers, and other center staff
- Possess special interest in, and a positive attitude about, working with long-term care residents/patients and the elderly
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Meets all health requirements, as required by law
