Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at The Hoy Center provides quality patient care, addressing the physical, psychological, social, and cultural needs of residents. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documentation of care, transferring residents, managing Foley catheters, and reporting any changes in resident condition. Candidates must have completed a certified nursing aide training program and hold a state certification, CPR certification, and familiarity with medical procedures and equipment. The role requires supportive and compassionate communication skills, physical capability for lifting and extended standing, and adherence to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Certified Nursing Aide training program and State certification as Nurse Aide.
- CPR certification.
- Familiarity with medical equipment, patient charts, medical terminology, and documentation procedures.
- Familiarity with Microsoft applications and Google, and knowledge in EMRs.
- Flu-Vaccinated
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of practical field experience, preferred.
- COVID-19 Vaccinated.
