Job Summary
Perform patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a registered or licensed vocational/practical nurse. Execute duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines, while adhering to limits that exclude medication administration, therapy, or independent patient care responsibility. Complete other related duties as assigned or requested within the acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit is preferred
