Job Summary
Perform various patient care activities and accommodative services under the general supervision of a registered or licensed vocational/practical nurse. Execute duties consistent with PAM Health policies, procedures, and guidelines while working within the position's limits. Do not administer medications or therapy, nor assume independent responsibility for patient care. Complete other related duties as assigned or requested. Requires current BLS certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) where required by state where the hospital resides
- Current BLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years of experience in an acute hospital, rehabilitation hospital, or skilled nursing unit
